Our licensed surveyor visits the site to assess ground conditions, measure linear metreage, identify granite bedrock depth, and photograph existing features. A formal survey report is produced — this becomes the basis for all BD submissions.

Deliverable: Signed survey report issued to contracts manager within 48 hours.
We prepare and file the BD14 Minor Works Permit application under Buildings Ordinance Cap. 123. All structural calculations for wind-load compliance and post-spacing are submitted with the application. Our zero-rejection record means no delays from incomplete documentation.

Deliverable: BD approval notification forwarded same day received.
Materials are sourced from HOKLAS-accredited suppliers. Mill certificates for every batch of steel are filed before delivery to site. Chain-link is hot-dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. Acoustic panels carry EPD certification where required by EPD conditions.

Deliverable: Full material file handed to main contractor QS before installation commences.
Posts are drilled into granite using rotary percussion rigs — no hand-dug footings on slope works. Concrete is batched to 35MPa minimum. Every post is plumbed with a digital level. Our site supervisor holds a valid CSCS card and the site safety plan is filed with the main contractor HSE officer before work begins.

Deliverable: Daily progress report issued every evening by 18:00.
Post-installation inspection covers post plumb tolerance (±5mm/m), mesh tension, gate alignment, and razor coil attachment security. HOKLAS-accredited test results for acoustic insertion loss are provided where acoustic panels are installed. Photographic evidence is compiled into an inspection dossier.

Deliverable: Inspection dossier issued within 24 hours of inspection.
A full handover pack is assembled and delivered to the main contractor: BD completion notice, all test certificates, warranty documents, and as-built drawings. Warranty periods are as specified in the comparison table above. Our $20M PL insurance policy schedule is included in every handover pack.
